Easily make your Sno Falls loan or credit card payment through a secure text message

We’re making things easier. Sno Falls MessagePay is now available! MessagePay will allow you to quickly make payment to your Sno Falls loan or credit card from any external account. It’s as easy as responding to a secure text message.

Below is how you’ll set up your account.

What is MessagePay?

MessagePay is a fast, safe and easy way to securely complete your Sno Falls loan or credit card payment, typically within minutes.

If you have a loan or credit card with Sno Falls Credit Union, you will receive a text message 5 days before your payment is due informing you of the payment amount along with a secure link to pay. By clicking on the secure link within the text message, you will be able to set up MessagePay and review your loan payment options.

Can I make a payment on my loans through my online and mobile banking account?

Yes! Log in to your online and mobile account using your smartphone, tablet or desktop and select ‘Make a Payment’ from our menu bar located at the top left. This will take you to the payment portal where you will verify your account.

If I opt out of receiving text messages will I still be able to pay my loans online?

Yes, you will have access to the payment portal through our website or online and mobile banking.

However, you will not receive any text notifications regarding payment reminders and will not be able to make a payment via text message.

How can I pay my account via text message?

Once you receive a text reminder, you respond “Pay” to the same text. You will be asked to enter your PIN to verify your account, once you have completed this process your payment will be complete.

NOTE: You will have to set up a 4 digit PIN and preferred method of payment prior to using text payments. You may not pay using a credit card. If you attempt to pay with a credit card then you will receive the below message.

I opted out of MessagePay but I’d like to sign up. What can I do?

The easiest way to sign up is to text ‘START’ to 425-888-4004. You can also call member services at 425-888-4004 during business hours.

I had an account on the old payment portal site, do I need a new one? 

Yes. MessagePay replaces the old payments page for all consumer loans.

Can I make a payment on my loans through my online and mobile banking account? 

Log in to your online and mobile account using your smartphone, tablet or desktop and select ‘Make a Payment’ from the menu bar located on the left. This will take you to the payment portal where you will have to verify your account.

Do I need to set up MessagePay if I already have automatic payments set up for my loan/credit card? 

No. Sno Falls Members who have automatic payments already in place can disregard the monthly MessagePay alert.

Is the MessagePay payment portal safe?

Yes. MessagePay will direct Members to a third party site that is completely secure. Simply press “Continue” once prompted.

What you should know:

• If you have a loan or credit card with Sno Falls Credit Union, you will receive a text message 5 days before your payment is due informing you of the payment amount along with a secure link to pay. By clicking on the secure link within the text message, you will be able to review your payment options.

• The link will take you to a portal where you will be asked to verify your account with your base account number (4 or 5 digit member number) and date of birth. The DOB should be the primary member’s DOB.

• You may choose to opt out of MessagePay by texting “STOP”.

• Stay aware of spam text messaging and phishing scams while using MessagePay. For more information, visit this link from the FTC.

Verifying your MessagePay account for the first time:

• Click the secure link that you received via text message in order to setup your MessagePay Account

• 4 digit PIN: once you have entered your account number and date of birth, it will prompt you to create a 4 digit PIN. Store this information in a secure place as you will need this PIN number to verify future payments.

• Preferred method of payment: to make a payment you will have to add your preferred form of payment in the portal by selecting ADD NEW PAYMENT METHOD. You can do this by selecting ADD NEW DEBIT CARD or ADD NEW BANK ACCOUNT (referred to as BANK TRANSFER). If done correctly, there will be a message stating ‘Payment Method Success’ and you will be redirected to the payment portal.

• Once your MessagePay account has been successfully verified, you will be directed to the payment portal where you’ll be able to see all of your loans and will also be able to select your preferred payment method.
