To our valued members:

In anticipation of the new year, I am excited to inform you of upcoming updates at Sno Falls Credit Union.

Sno Falls will be rolling out a new core banking platform beginning December 2, 2022. This change will allow our systems and processes to perform more efficiently, therefore paving the way for us to better meet Member needs.

Most updates – streamlined processes and services integration – will be internal. That being said, there are a number of Member-facing changes and service availability matters that we want you to be aware of.

All Sno Falls locations will close at 12 P.M. on Friday, December 2 in order to undergo our core banking platform update. We anticipate that ATM, Debit and Credit Card transactions will function normally during this time however, temporary system limitations may occur. Our online and mobile banking platforms will temporarily go offline beginning December 2 at 12 P.M. PST through the morning of Monday, December 5. Members will be unable to utilize online and mobile banking during this time. All scheduled transactions i.e., electronic fund transfers, bill pay, etc. will process as scheduled during this period. We expect all systems to be back online the morning of December 5.

Member Impact

1. The safekeeping of Member data is our top priority. Your account number and our routing number are not changing during this process. All sensitive information will be secured throughout the entire system update.

2. Please place relevant dates on your calendar. All Sno Falls locations will close at 12 P.M. PST on Friday, December 2 in order to undergo our core banking platform update. Our online and mobile banking platforms will temporarily go offline beginning December 2 at 12 P.M. PST through the morning of Monday, December 5. Members will be unable to utilize online and mobile banking during this time.

3. Please schedule online bill payments in advance of the system update. Your payments will be made as scheduled as long as they were set up prior to 12 P.M. on Friday, December 2.

4. Keep enough cash on hand. We anticipate that ATM, Debit and Credit Card transactions will function normally during this time however, temporary system limitations may occur. (12 P.M. on Friday, December 2 – Monday, December 5).

5. Download any necessary historical information at this time. You may wish to download your transaction history, or if you receive E-Statements, you can print or save them on your computer.

6. Share this information with joint account holders. We expect all systems to be back online the morning of December 5.

Mobile and Online Banking

Mobile and online banking will not be available beginning 12 P.M. on Friday, December 2. This means that you will be unable to complete actions such as checking your account balance, transferring funds, and implementing bill pay.

We expect all systems to be back online the morning of December 5. Of note, your account and transaction history will be transferred to the new system.

Will I be able to log into online or mobile banking during the system update process?

No. Online and mobile banking will not be available from 12 P.M. on Friday, December 2 – Monday, December 5. This webpage and our social media pages will provide you with notification of any earlier availability. We expect all systems to be back online the morning of December 5.

Are online transfers between accounts available during the system update?

No. You will be unable to complete an online transfer after 12 P.M. on Friday, December 2. We anticipate that this feature will be re-established the morning of Monday, December 5.

If I put cash and or checks in the night deposit box after 12:00 P.M. on Friday, December 2, when will it be processed?

Deposits placed in the night deposit box after 12:00 P.M. on Friday, December 2 will be processed on Monday, December 5.

Will I be able to use my Sno Falls card(s) for debit and credit transactions, and ATM withdrawals during the system update period?

We anticipate that ATM, Debit and Credit Card transactions will function normally during this time however, temporary system limitations may occur. We expect all systems to be back online the morning of December 5.

Will my current direct deposits be affected?

No. Since your account number and the credit union’s routing number are not changing, all current direct deposits will continue to be processed normally.

Is there a blackout period for wire transfers?

Domestic and international wire transfer requests received on Friday, December 2 by 12:00 P.M. will be processed that day.  Funds from incoming wire transfers received from 12:00 P.M. on December 2 until Monday, December 5 will not be available.
