Protect Your Information

Sno Falls Credit Union will never request personal information without first being contacted. Do not give any information to anyone unless you are sure they are a direct representative of the credit union. Another action you can take to protect yourself is to keep an eye out for people around you while you are making any sort of transaction. Watch for anyone looking over your shoulder at the ATM or while you are using Online Banking or the Audio Teller.

Current Security Features

• PIN number
  -This is a PIN number used as an access number to access SnoFalls@Home Online Banking as well as SnoFalls Express Teller.
• Random Security Code
  - This is the random code used when logging into SnoFalls@Home. The purpose is to defeat automated programs from trying brute force attacks on Account/PIN combinations.
• Personalized Background Image
  - Users have the ability to select an image for their background.
• Secure Browser Sessions
  - All transmitted information is encrypted and transferred securely.
• Logon Timeout
  - After a period of inactivity you will be automatically logged out of the system.
• Security Key
  - The user enters a short quote, the quote is then displayed on all pages.
• Custom Start Page
  - The user can edit the page they see when they first log in.
• Alternate Login
  - An alternative login can be used other than the account number if the user wishes.
• Internet Banking Statistics
  - Log in and usage statistics are available. This can be used to track if anyone has gained access to an account by identify odd logins.
• User Color Settings
  - The theme of the home banking site is customizable, gives a personal preference and another verification of the authentic home banking site.

As of January 15th, 2007, the way you log into SnoFalls@Home Online Banking has changed.
Sno Falls Credit Union has improved online security features designed to prevent online users from falling victim to fradulent web sites that attempt to gain sensitive financial information. The new online security features require no new hardware or software and helps combat identity theft.

• Security KeyThe Security Key mentioned above is now required. It can be any word or phrase that you like, and will be displayed at the top of every SnoFalls@Home Online Banking Page that you go to. If you do not see the Security Key that you typed in on a page, then you know you are not on a SnoFalls@Home Online Banking web page. If you are on a page that looks like SnoFalls@Home Online Banking and does NOT display your Security Key, then it may be an imposter or fraudulent site. If this happens please contact us immediately.
